Painting monochrome illustrations is one of my favourite things to do. It reminds me of the times when I started learning drawing, and my primary tools were pencil and eraser. That’s why, when NT Anderson contacted me to commission a book cover illustrations for her book series, I was all in! “Acts of Confession” is a second book in the steamy romance series (author’s words, not mine!)
The cover illustration pictures a table set for romantic dinner for two and a rich, beautiful bouquet of red roses.
The first book in the series is called the “Acts on Closure”. The concept for it’s cover illustration changed several times, before we were able to pinpoint the essence of what Nikki really wanted to see her cover. Finally we settled for the illustration below: an ajar red door, which leaves a lot of questions unanswered.
